Clytaemnestra, the triumph of female power, matriarchy, mother-earth | Orestea (una commedia organic
Clytaemnestra is a primeval great mother, from whose womb all life emanates. Romeo Castellucci attempts a reverse reading, reversing the logical consecutive order, to end up with matriarchal order, i.e. the order which in reality is receding. The Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, with their rendering of the Oresteia, sets Clytaemnestra triumphantly back on her throne.
