I believe that Claudia was really possessed by the true archivist’s spirit

One of the main objectives of the ARCH work team concerns the documentation, classification and digitization of the archive of the Societas Raffaello Sanzio. Our aim is, one the one hand, to preserve the primary material, and on the other to disseminate it throughout the academic community. For the achievement of this aim, it is necessary to proceed to full digitization, but also to compile electronic catalogues/indexes as well as a functional electronic database; these are the tools which will make the archive accessible to researchers from all over the world. Claudia Castellucci, especially, the director of the archive, was the first who expressed the wish for the protection and classification of the enormous volume of material contained in it. I believe that Claudia was really possessed by the true archivist’s spirit, and stood on our side from the very beginning of the whole project.
